Tony Hancock (1924 – 1968).
English comedian and actor whose radio show "Hancock's Half Hour" ran from 1954 - 1959, written by Ray Galton and Alan Simpson with co-stars Hattie Jacques, Kenneth Williams, Sid James and Bill Kerr. This popular show was adopted by TV and the shows were re-recorded and broadcast 1956-1960.
